The Coalition on Domestic Violence Legislation in Ghana (DV Coalition) was founded in March 2003 to advocate for the passage of a Domestic Violence Bill, which had been introduced by government into law. It is made up of organisations and individuals interested in addressing violent related issues especially against women and children. The DV Coalition, over the period of its advocacy on the Domestic Bill, has built relationships with several actors - faith-based organisations, the media, and state agencies in order to garner broad support for its agenda.
